After an initial trial release in QLD and Western Australia, our Long Service Leave feature is now available Australia-wide. 

We’re thrilled to announce this new feature that will dramatically simplify the work required to calculate and manage your employees’ long service leave. Some of the key benefits of our long service leave solution:

• Tracking key milestones on a state-by-state basis, such as contingent and entitlement periods
• Automatically factoring in periods of non-continuous service when calculating eligibility dates
• Transparency of long service leave accrual for staff without giving them the ability to request it period to eligibility dates
• Built specifically for long service leave calculations, meaning you don’t have to configure an out-of-the-box solution

Easily track reporting lines and internal structures with our new organisation chart feature. Using our position functionality, you can also set minimum headcounts for each team, helping you identify hiring gaps early and prevent overtime costs from spiraling out of control.

We’ve made it even easier to set and follow labour budgets when creating rosters. Now, you can set custom metrics to show managers on the roster, create separate sales and labour planners, import your own budgets via CSV, and much more.

Now, managers can keep key metrics top of mind when designing their rosters and see how close they are to their budget, adjusting as necessary to stay on target.

We’ve redesigned the Tanda Hire Candidate Review page, improving the style and functionality to make the process easier for hiring managers.

• Shortlist or reject candidates with a single click
• View a list of other candidates while focussing on a specific application
• Quickly filter candidates based on the stage of the hiring process (e.g. shortlisted, interviewed)
• View resumes uploaded via PDF directly in the application page - no downloads necessary

As we approach the annual WGEA reporting period, we’ve introduced dedicated functionality to help collate the Workplace Profile and Workforce Management Statistics.

Customers will be able to use employee data and payroll functionality to streamline occupational and manager categorisation, gender attribution, voluntary resignation reporting and more.

With the new employee-led Casual Conversion pathway now in effect, we’ve revisited our casual conversion report. Employers can confidently assess the eligibility of a casual employee to convert based on: 

• The employee’s overall pattern of employment strength and tenure length
• If there is a pattern based on shift length
• If there is a pattern based on shift length by day and week
• If there is a pattern of working on particular days and times
• Average and median values for each day of the week
